Freedom for Eurasia has received alarming information regarding the deteriorating prison conditions faced by Dauletmurat Tajimuratov in colony KIN 11, Navoi, Uzbekistan. Reports indicate that Tajimuratov is experiencing daily threats from the colony administration and worsening of his living conditions. He has been warned of an imminent transfer back to the maximum-security prison, where he was previously held before being moved to the colony regime this summer. The prison administration appears to be orchestrating situations that could force Tajimuratov to violate colony rules, thus justifying his transfer. This move would severely limit his access to family and his attorney.
Freedom for Eurasia highlights that according to his attorneys, Tajimuratov, who was for a time a civil servant, is entitled to serve his sentence in colony KIN 22. However, Uzbek authorities have continuously denied his lawful appeals, subjecting him to harsh conditions in colony KIN 11. The harassment from the prison administration, deliberate orchastration of violations has made his life in the colony unbearable.
