On March 10, 2023, the Legislative Chamber, the lower house of the Oliy Mazhlis, the Parliament of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No 3017-IV “On holding a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan «On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan»”. At the same meeting, the deputies of the Oliy Mazhlis approved the decision to hold a constitutional referendum on April 30, 2023.
